The case for Atlas
Atlas splits into two genuinely different products: ACFoam flat polyiso insulation for thermal performance alone, and Tapered ACFoam, which builds positive drainage directly into the insulation layer — critical in Southern California, where ponding rather than rainfall volume drives most premature roof failures. Both lines share the same extensive UL, FM, Miami-Dade, and Florida product approvals. Getting a tapered layout right takes real design work — slope direction, drain sumps, crickets, hips and valleys — and RRI can support that design, layout, and quoting process on request. Configuration is confirmed per project.

Flat Polyiso Insulation
The thermal layer under almost everything.
ACFoam-III and ACFoam-II insulate new construction and re-roofs across nearly every commercial roofing system.
ACFoam-III's closed-cell polyiso core is bonded to inorganic coated glass facers (CGF); ACFoam-II uses non-asphaltic organic felt facers (GRF) — both rated from LTTR 5.7 to 26.8 across a range of thicknesses. The line is tested for use under BUR, modified bitumen, standing seam metal, and ballasted, mechanically attached, or adhered single-ply membranes, with FM 4450/4470 Approval, Miami-Dade County and Florida Product Approval, and Greenguard certification behind it. ACFoam Supreme adds reflective foil facers for cold storage and metal building work, and dedicated HD CoverBoard, HD CoverBoard-FR, and Recover Board options round out the flat line for cover-board and recover-specific applications.

Tapered ACFoam Insulation

Tapered ACFoam builds positive drainage into the roof — and RRI can support the layout, quotes, and design that get you there.
Tapered ACFoam-III builds positive drainage directly into the insulation layer — critical in Southern California, where ponding rather than rainfall volume drives most premature roof failures. LTTR values run from 4.3 to 26.8 across the tapered range, with the same UL, FM, and Miami-Dade approvals behind the flat line. Getting the layout right — slope direction, drain sumps, crickets, and hips and valleys — is its own discipline, and RRI can support tapered design, layout, and quotes on request, so the drainage plan is dialed in before insulation ever hits the roof.
