Protected Membrane Roofing

MM6125 goes under the insulation, not over it — so UV, foot traffic, and thermal cycling never touch the membrane.
Hydrotech's Monolithic Membrane 6125 is a hot fluid-applied rubberized asphalt membrane, installed 2-3 times thicker than most liquid-applied waterproofing. In a Protected Membrane Roof assembly, insulation sits on top of the membrane instead of below it — shielding it from the elements that wear down a conventional roof. The result lasts more than three times as long as an unprotected membrane roof, backed by a 60-year track record.

Garden Roof Assembly
The only vegetated roof with one warranty, deck to bloom.
Hydrotech is the only manufacturer with FM Approval covering a full vegetated assembly — not just the waterproofing underneath it.
Built on the same MM6125 membrane, the Garden Roof Assembly is lightweight enough for structures never engineered for a traditional green roof. Extensive assemblies use hardy, low-maintenance plantings; Intensive assemblies support full landscapes, trees, and recreational space. Hydrotech installed North America's first single-source vegetated roof in 1996 and has 25+ years of green roof experience since.

Waterproofing
Built for water that never stops trying to get in.
Plazas, planters, tunnels, foundation walls — MM6125 self-heals and bridges cracks in a fully submerged environment.
MM6125 installs at up to 215 mils — three times thicker than most competing membranes — with no seams and no on-site curing to fail. It's rated for fully submerged, below-grade conditions, bridges cracks up to 1/16" without added reinforcement, and installs down to 0°F. No slope is required, only positive drainage, which makes it a fit for plaza decks, split slabs, and foundation walls alike.
